Morning Dash

1. Paint the town red. 2. The cat’s meow. 3. Barking up the wrong tree. 4. Close, but no cigar. 5. Everything but the kitchen sink.
6. Put a sock in it. 7. Leave no stone unturned. 8. When the going gets tough, the tough get going. 9. Don’t try kicking against the wind. 10. A picture is worth a thousand words.
11. Where there’s smoke there’s fire. 12. Ignorance is bliss. 13. A friend to everybody is a friend to nobody. 14. Never speak ill of the dead. 15. Faint heart never won fair lady.
16. Don’t get mad, get even. 17. An idle man is the devil’s playfellow. 18. An old fox need learn no craft. 19. Curses, like chickens come home to roost. 20. Like a fish out of water.
21. Let sleeping dogs lie. 22. Seize the day. 23. Little strokes fell great oaks. 24. A rising tide lifts all boats. 25. Peace begins just where ambition ends.

Evening Dash

1. No man is an island. 2. People who live in glass houses should not throw stones. 3. Any port in a storm. 4. He who pays the piper calls the tune. 5. Never look a gift horse in the mouth.
6. Seeing is believing. 7. Dead men tell no tales. 8. Set a thief to catch a thief. 9. One man’s trash is another man’s treasure. 10. Easy come, easy go.
11. A drowning man will clutch at a straw. 12. The worst wheel always creaks most. 13. A spark can start a great fire. 14. Still waters run deep. 15. Discretion is the greater part of valor.
16. The walls have ears. 17. Love makes a good eye squint. 18. Brevity is the soul of wit. 19. If wishes were horses, beggars would ride. 20. They that sow the wind, shall reap the whirlwind.
21. Don’t beat about the bush. 22. You can’t run with the hare and hunt with the hounds. 23. Don’t knock on death’s door. Ring the doorbell and run. 24. While the cat’s away the mice will play. 25. Silence is golden.
